We are seeking a dynamic
National Consultant
to serve as a trusted partner to financial advisors and help them accelerate the growth of their practices. In this role, you'll work with a portfolio of engaged advisors, providing guidance on wealth management strategies, investment solutions, and practice management resources. Your efforts will directly shape advisor success, strengthen client relationships, and expand the reach of your territory. This is a highly visible role where strategic thinking, consultative sales, and relationship-building all converge.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with financial advisors to understand their goals and recommend solutions that support long-term business growth.
- Provide consultative expertise on products, investment performance, portfolio positioning, and client engagement strategies.
- Design and execute targeted campaigns to re-engage advisors who are underutilizing available tools and resources.
- Deliver engaging presentations at advisor-focused events, highlighting the unique value of available offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth adoption of resources, technology, and investment platforms.
- Travel up to 30% to attend client meetings, industry events, and regional engagements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and proactively drive outcomes.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for pipeline and territory management.
- Ability to evaluate managed money platforms and tailor solutions to advisor and client needs.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience within the financial services industry.
- 4+ years of experience in consultative sales, both over the phone and in person.
- Active FINRA licenses required: Series 6, 63, and 65, or Series 7 and 66.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $67,500 – $95,000 (based on knowledge, skills, and experience).
- Sales Incentive Plan: Annual target of up to $95,000, with goals tied to measurable performance metrics.
- Hybrid work opportunities available for candidates located near Chicago, IL.
