Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join ouR culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes at this Korean Shabu-Shabu restaurant with a modern twist.
Duties
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes to meet presentation standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients accurately
- Assist in the development and execution of menu planning, supporting seasonal changes and special offerings
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, maintaining cleanliness, proper food handling, and sanitation standards at all times
- Maintain organized workstations, ensuring all cooking equipment is clean, functional, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Requirements
- 1 year experience in a similar field is required
- Strong culinary skills including knife proficiency, food preparation techniques, meal assembly, etc.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
