Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to help grow and strengthen our referral relationships, brand presence, and community engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, representing a company in the community, and balancing external business development with light internal coordination. You'll be the face of our brand with referral partners while supporting marketing initiatives that drive real business results.
Core Responsibilities
Business Development & Relationship Building
- Conduct regular agent and referral partner rounds
- Maintain assigned marketing routes and schedules
- Attend networking events, association meetings, and community events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance agents, property managers, and local partners
- Represent the company professionally at all external events
Marketing & Brand Support
- Manage and update company social media channels
- Assist with website updates and basic content coordination
- Plan and support Lunch & Learns, CE Classes, fundraisers, and community events
- Coordinate event logistics, invitations, and follow-ups
- Track marketing activity and engagement
Internal Support & Coordination
- Assist with inbound phone calls and scheduling jobs/estimates/inspections as needed
- Support basic data entry, documentation, and office coordination
- Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth handoff from marketing to production
- Maintain organized records of outreach and events
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable networking and speaking with new people
- Organized, reliable, and self-motivated
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Basic computer skills (email, scheduling tools, social platforms)
- Willingness to attend events outside normal office hours as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Experience in restoration, insurance, or marketing is a plus — but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, hourly
- Typical hours: Monday–Friday with flexibility for events
- Pay range: $18–$20/hour, based on experience
- Growth opportunity into senior BD, marketing lead, or coordinator roles
