Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions using IBM IIB / App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
- Lead integration architecture discussions, defining patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Design and implement microservices-based integration solutions using Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
- Guide cloud-native deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containerized workloads.
- Provide technical leadership to integration and development teams, including mentoring and design reviews.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable integration designs.
- Own end-to-end integration lifecycle including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Define and enforce non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and resilience.
- Support DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes for integration deployments.
- Participate in roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Integration Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and/or IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- Experience designing message flows, subflows, and reusable integration components
- Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, MQ, JMS, and file-based integrations
- Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, and message transformation
Microservices & Backend Development
- Solid experience building microservices using Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture patterns (API Gateway, Circuit Breaker, Service Discovery)
- Experience exposing and consuming REST APIs
Cloud & DevOps
- Experience deploying integration solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of cloud security, networking, and monitoring concepts
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Previous experience in technical leadership roles (Tech Lead, Integration Lead, Solution Architect)
- Ability to guide teams through design, development, and troubleshooting
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
