Plumbing Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Plumbing Helper to assist experienced plumbers on construction sites and maintenance projects. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing and related trades, supporting the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and basic mechanical skills to contribute effectively to our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Support pipe threading, cutting, and fitting tasks under supervision
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform various construction activities
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project layouts
• Help with remodeling projects, including carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on-site
• Support welding and HVAC-related tasks as needed for plumbing installations
• Assist with field service tasks such as troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing routine maintenance

Skills

• Construction site experience with a focus on plumbing or related trades
• Knowledge of construction plumbing, pipe threading, and blueprint reading
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
• Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and HVAC components
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
• Experience with carpentry, remodeling, assembly, or maintenance person work is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team environment
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
