Housekeeping Aide

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Carry out floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
• Maintain cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings by following established cleaning protocols.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the upkeep of the premises.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repairs.
• Handle industrial cleaning duties when required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate cleaning schedules and special projects.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A proactive approach to identifying cleaning needs and addressing them promptly.
