Pay Rate: $26 - $28 per hour
Reports to: Store Manager
Supervise: Shift Leads / Baristas

In this Assistant Store Manager role, you will:
Support the management of a fantastic team:
- Ensure the team is able to deliver high-quality and excellent customer service
- Ensure the team is able to deliver consistent product quality
- Make sure all store level operation tools are used and followed to operational standards
- Support the training and management of all new store employees
- Coach and correct Shift Leads & Charistas by conducting On-Job-Training (OJT)
- Aid and execute the store schedule as needed
- Assign team members to specific shifts and delegate duties
- Supervise and ensure upselling/suggestive selling is practiced at all times and ensure each order is served to standard
- Handle customer feedback properly and coach team members on creating solutions and remedies
- Responsible for store cash handling matters based on rules and regulations set forth by company
Monitor Stores Sales Performance:
- Support the creation and management of sales performance goals
- Assist in marketing & promotional activities to attract top talent
Inventory Management:
- Forecast inventory usage and delivery
- Support store manager in ordering and receiving inventory
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Be a passionate tea lover
- 1+ year of supervision or management experience in a food & beverage retail environment
- Previous Barista experience: 2+ years (preferred)
- Food Safety Certification (Company can assist)
- Excellent communications and leadership skills
- Fun personality that can add to the CHAGEE culture
- Be a fast learner and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
- Ability to travel to other store locations or training facilities within a 30 mile radius as needed
- Work well as part of a team with strong work ethic
- Be willing to learn other responsibilities and ad-hoc assignments
- Be available to participate in company's training when necessary
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
- May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stooping
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
