Restoration / Mitigation Technician

This role involves responding to residential and commercial property losses caused by water, fire, mold, and storm damage. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in active jobsite environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency mitigation calls for water, fire, mold, and storm losses
• Perform demolition of damaged materials, including drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and insulation
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers
• Extract standing water and perform moisture mapping and documentation
• Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing affected areas
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and adhere to safety standards
• Take job photos and notes for documentation (CompanyCam or Encircle experience is a plus)
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, homeowners, and team members
• Load, unload, and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles

Qualifications

• Prior experience in insurance mitigation or restoration preferred but not required
• (water, fire, mold experience is a plus)
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) preferred but not required
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, demolition, and equipment setup
• Comfortable working in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and attics
• Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to participate in an on-call emergency response rotation

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour
