About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team in Winchester, MA and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents while supervising nursing support staff in a collaborative, resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with facility policies and safe nursing practices
  • Supervise CNAs and other nursing support staff on assigned units
  • Administer medications and monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions
  • Accurately transcribe and carry out the physician's orders
  • Perform wound care and treatments as ordered
  • Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition
  • Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Provide hands-on clinical care, including wound care, tube feedings, IV administration, suctioning, and colostomy care
  • Conduct rounds to ensure resident needs are met
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and participate in care planning
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication
  • Assist with state surveys and inspections as needed
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved LPN program
  • Current, unencumbered State of Massachusetts LPN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (not required)
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to handle various situations with tact and professionalism
  • Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
