Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations while playing an active role in menu development, execution, and refinement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values clean, intentional food, and is excited about growth and long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Collaborate with leadership on menu development and seasonal offerings
• Assist with recipe testing, costing, and execution standards
• Lead and support kitchen staff during service
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization standards
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction
• Uphold Monti's culinary vision, brand standards, and guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Kitchen Lead in a high-volume kitchen
• Passion for fresh, clean, and health-driven food concepts
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, prep, and service flow
• Ability to take direction, implement feedback, and lead by example
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Leadership mindset with a collaborative attitude

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
