We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Sous Chef Manager to join our culinary team.
Position Overview:
The Sous Chef Manager is a dynamic leadership role responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, assisting in menu development, managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. This position requires a combination of culinary expertise, strong management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food production.
Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback to enhance performance and ensure consistency.
Ensure all dishes meet our high standards for quality, taste, and presentation. Regularly monitor food preparation, cooking, and plating techniques.
Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, including ordering ingredients and ensuring proper stock levels.
Minimize waste and control food costs.
Enforce health and safety regulations, including food handling, storage, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
Maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.
Create work schedules and manage shift coverage for the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations.
Work closely with front-of-house managers and staff to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen management role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, twist, stand for 8-10 hours
- 2+ years kitchen supervising/managing experience
