Warehouse Associate

NOTE: This position works in our temperature controlled warehouse that is set at 35* F. Coats, gloves and other PPE are provided free of charge - but you will be working for all hours in a COLD environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBLITIES (including but not limited to):

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products and materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
• Transport products to/from designated areas and arrange items for easy access.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by ensuring products are stored according to safety regulations and operational standards.
• Ensure all shipments are accurately and efficiently picked, packed, and prepared for distribution.
• Assist Warehouse Personnel with receiving goods and assist QA with inspecting incoming shipments for quality and quantity discrepancies, reporting any issues to management.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the safe operation of forklifts and other equipment, and ensure the warehouse environment is free of hazards.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and notify supervisors of any issues or malfunctions.
• Provide support with other warehouse tasks, such as picking and packing orders, as needed.
• Comply with company's Food Safety and GMP policies and procedures.
• Any other duties as specified by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ Experience operating material handling equipment (tow motor, pallet jacks, etc)
• Experience using order pick/pack lists to select correct items from inventory
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow all food sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent good communication skills (Bilingual English/Spanish preferred)
• Ability to work under pressure
