Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Catering Manager to lead our catering operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of catering services, ensuring exceptional food quality, outstanding customer service, and seamless event execution. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all catering events from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service.
- Supervise catering staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating team members to foster a motivated and professional workforce.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize costs.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Develop menus tailored to client preferences while balancing quality, presentation, and budget considerations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide expert recommendations, and ensure complete satisfaction.
- Oversee kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold high culinary standards.
- Implement training programs focused on food handling, customer service excellence, and team development.
- Monitor operational performance through shift management, budgeting, and reporting to improve efficiency continuously.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service management within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment is essential.
- Extensive background in catering services with banquet or casual dining experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and culinary practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing.
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance is required.
- Prior hotel or hospitality management experience is a plus; barista or coffee industry background can be advantageous.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle client interactions professionally.
