Job Summary
Purpose & Accountabilities
:

  • Define product, marketing, promotional, customer, and pricing strategies for products.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet corporate sales and profit targets annually.
  • Create and implement commercial product strategies, roadmaps, and value propositions aligned with company goals and customer needs in the foodservice channel.
  • Ensure execution of marketing tactics externally and communicate strategies and tactics internally. Work cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with Sales to support business development, customer presentations, and RFQ/RFP responses to optimize operational efficiencies and achieve growth targets.
  • Work with Operations, Engineering, Innovation, and Supply Chain on new product development, production feasibility, sourcing decisions, inventory planning, and service performance.
  • Support Quality and Regulatory teams on certifications, food safety compliance, sustainability claims, and documentation

Product Expertise And Strategy

  • Become a technology product expert with a strong understanding of the external market dynamics, competitive landscape, and internal operations.
  • Determine optimal product and promotional strategies to meet customer needs and maximize asset utilization and profitability.
  • Maintain knowledge of raw material markets, distribution scenarios, packaging types, and cost drivers.

Financial Management

  • Accountable for product line P&L.
  • Contribute to the development and tracking of financial metrics to meet annual business objectives.
  • Manage pricing with customers to meet profitability targets and ensure fair practices.

Customer And Market Analysis

  • Develop a strong understanding of key customers' go-to-market strategies, competitive environment, and work processes.
  • Work with T&D and Marketing to develop customer-facing materials: product guides, technical sheets, product differentiators, sustainability messaging, and case studies.
  • Create compelling, logical, customer-specific presentations to pursue product/brand opportunities or address challenges.

Product Development

  • Identify new product extension and configuration opportunities to drive growth, profitability and market differentiation. Champion development from concept to commercialization.
  • Provide clear direction and influence cross-functional teams to complete projects accurately, on time, and within budget.

Collaboration And Planning

  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales and Operations Planning teams to provide input on product level demand forecasts, market intelligence, and capacity planning models.
  • Execute marketing tactics and communicate initiatives to support the sales team.
  • Serve as a brand steward for global opportunities.

Required
Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, operations management, or equivalent.
  • Experience in marketing, sales, operations, and/or project management.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and navigate ambiguity.
  • Proficient with MS Office 365 products including MS Teams, Loop, and Copilot.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with experience managing product margins and pricing
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes up to 30%.
