Inventory Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking of cannabis products, and optimizing the intake process. This role requires a strong understanding of retail operations, cannabis compliance, product management, and auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of inventory, ensuring accurate product counts, timely deliveries, and compliance with cannabis regulations.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels within the dispensary, ensuring adequate stock availability while minimizing excess.
• Record all product intake into the METRC and POS systems, tagging and labeling all products per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the physical organization of the inventory space to ensure efficient access and minimize product handling errors.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory and compliance with both internal policies and external cannabis regulations.
• Ensure that all product-related records, including intake and outgoing transactions, are documented in state-required systems.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, noting discrepancies, compliance issues, and recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and smooth intake into the inventory system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product handling processes, improving efficiency and reducing error rates.
• Utilize data and analytics to identify trends in inventory usage and develop strategies to improve inventory turnover and minimize waste.
• Prepare and present reports detailing inventory status, trends, and performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvements.
• Manage productivity and performance of all inventory and processing staff.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 2 year of experience in inventory management in the cannabis industry.

Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, proficiency with inventory management software, and a solid understanding of cannabis compliance regulations.

Tools: Experience with METRC, Dutchie Point of Sale systems.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in inventory management or cannabis compliance are a plus.
