Overview

Little Warriors Pediatric Home Care is currently hiring female nurses, LVN or RN for Harlingen area. Friday -Sunday night from 07:00 pm-07:00 am. New grads are welcome, we provide full training.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized care to patients in their homes. This role is essential for ensuring the health and well-being of individuals requiring specialized medical attention. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with experience in home care settings, demonstrating both clinical expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on individual needs and preferences.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to monitor health status and identify any changes in condition.
• Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide infant care, including monitoring vital signs and developmental milestones.
• Assist with patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and home care techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
• Stay informed about advancements in nursing practices, including knowledge of anatomy and botulinum toxin treatment.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license and certification in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in home care settings is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and patient assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and families.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient needs efficiently.
