About Us
Cargo Auto Group is a busy automotive dealership in the Bronx focused on delivering a smooth, friendly experience for every customer who calls or walks through our doors. We're looking for a front desk Receptionist to be the "first impression" of the store.

Position Overview
The Dealership Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers in person and over the phone. You'll greet guests, answer and route calls, and support the sales and service teams with basic administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers and visitors as they arrive and direct them to the correct department or team member
  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls with a professional, friendly phone manner, and route them to the appropriate person
  • Take clear, detailed messages when staff are unavailable and ensure messages are delivered promptly
  • Answer basic questions about store hours, location, and general services
  • Check customers in for sales or service appointments and notify staff when their guests arrive
  • Help maintain an organized, clean reception and waiting area
  • Assist with simple office tasks such as scanning, filing, copying, and data entry
  • Provide general support to sales, service, and management as needed

Requirements

  • Must be bilingual: fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong phone etiquette – clear speaking voice, polite tone, and professional communication at all times
  • Comfortable handling multiple phone lines and greeting walk-in customers at the same time
  • Basic computer skills (email, simple data entry, etc.)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent 40-hour schedule
  • Friendly, positive attitude and customer-service mindset

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Prior experience as a receptionist, cashier, or in customer service
  • Experience in an office or retail environment

No Dealership Experience Required – We Will Train

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour
