We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing meals, maintaining kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
• Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to clients.

Skills

• Experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or catering environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Proficient knife skills and ability to work with various cooking methods.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
