Muay Thai instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Instructor to lead and facilitate engaging classes in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students of various ages, possess strong teaching skills, and demonstrate expertise in sports, martial arts, or physical education. This role involves instructing a Muay Thai class. The Instructor will foster a positive learning atmosphere while ensuring safety and promoting skill development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instructional session of Muay Thai, and physical education.
• Manage behavior and maintain discipline to create a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different skill levels and age groups.
• Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols and health guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and facility cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, or program coordinators regarding participant progress or concerns.
• Promote a positive attitude towards physical activity and foster team spirit among participants.

Requirements

• Prior experience in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children in a recreational setting.
• Knowledge of martial arts such as Muay Thai is highly desirable.
• Strong background in boxing or other athletic disciplines is preferred.
• Excellent behavior management skills to handle diverse groups of students effectively.
• Ability to engage students through motivating instruction and adapt to various learning styles.
• Experience working with children or youth in a childcare or educational environment.
• Certification in lifeguarding or relevant first aid/CPR training is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
