Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for those in your care by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their safety and well-being. Ideal candidates will have experience working with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide patient care and support in a respectful and dignified manner
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition
• Administer medications as per care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
• Assist with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• First aid and CPR certification preferred
• Experience in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, or working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
• Ability to perform patient observation and monitoring effectively
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Experience in cooking, cleaning, and providing direct support to clients in need
