Description

Job Summary

The RIES Project Coordinator is responsible for scheduling jobs, and ensuring the Team has the job specific equipment necessary.  This position also communicates with clients, as well as Team members to determine availability.  Available at all times to answer any questions from Team members and update them with any changes to the schedule.  Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and work in the field as needed.  Assist with employee relations issues as needed.

Essential Functions
  • Researches, prioritizes and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the RIES Project Manager.  Make recommendations on the appropriate course of action, referral or response.
  • Coordinate the estimating and proposal process by assisting in reviewing drawings, job details, specifications and preparing proposals.
  • Solid understanding of all positions supervised and the ability to perform the work when needed.
  • Ensures smooth and clear communication between internal departments as well as the RIES Team, while demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with management staff.
  • Assists in the administrative execution of estimates, work orders and invoicing for all special projects.
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs, handling matters proactively and sees all projects and tasks to completion, often with strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of operational processes and procedures for all divisions in order to better assist the duties of the RIES Manager.
  • Assist in preparing invoice detail for Accounting to create billable invoice to send to client.
  • Support RIES office when teammate is off for the day/or on vacation.
  • Work closely with other divisions to coordinate jobs / efficiencies, as needed.
  • Assist in new hire training or refresher for current personnel to prepare for inclusion on the "weekend on-call" schedule.
  • Must be available to assist with emergency call out work when needed.
  • Monitor truck / equipment maintenance work orders and costs associated.
  • Schedule downtime for routine maintenance of trucks with Fleet & Service Manager.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ensure materials are properly disposed of per environmental specifications and logs are kept.
  • Act as a right-hand support person to the RIES Manager.
  • Must be able to have constructive conversations with employees, as needed.
  • Assist RIES Project Manager with SST Evaluations and annual Teammate Performance Reviews.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
    Competencies or Experience Requirements
  • Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement preferred
  • 2-3 years Hydrovac field experience preferred
  • Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Education Requirements

    High School Diploma or GED and relevant work experience.

    Safety

    Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures.

    Travel

    Travel may be required for this position at any given time to accompany the Hydrovac Manager to meetings or appointments upon request.
