Responsibilities

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles.
• Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or by manual lifting when necessary.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at customer locations.
• Deliver products directly to customers' homes or businesses with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch or warehouse staff regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on route.
• Assist with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing stock, or preparing shipments for delivery.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Handle customer inquiries courteously, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience in a commercial setting.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not required for all roles.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely; previous experience with heavy lifting or moving is advantageous.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Comfortable navigating using GPS or route planning tools; excellent time management skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout shifts in various weather conditions.
