We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our food service offerings. Duties
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of innovative menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory control and procurement processes to optimize food costs while maintaining high standards of freshness and quality.
- Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment.
- Coordinate banquet services, catering events, and special functions with precision to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Supervise and mentor culinary staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team.
- Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless communication between kitchen and service staff.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory levels, food costs, waste management, and safety inspections for operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in food production processes and customer service standards.
- Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities such as teamwork, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role within fine dining or hospitality environments.
- Extensive culinary experience with strong knowledge of food preparation techniques across various cuisines.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing diverse kitchen teams effectively.
- Strong background in banquet experience, catering coordination, and restaurant management.
- Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and food safety standards (including HACCP certification preferred).
- Skilled in menu planning that balances creativity with operational feasibility.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with kitchen management systems and food service software for inventory control and scheduling.
- Knowledge of dietary department practices is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail during high-volume service periods.
