Duties

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision.
• Provide friendly and professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or in person.
• Assist customers with product demos, upselling items, and answering questions about merchandise.
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising activities.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously to enhance shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members.
• Experience supervising or training new staff is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations, including stocking and merchandising practices.
