Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT), where your expertise will transform patient recovery journeys and improve quality of life. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized care plans that promote mobility, reduce pain, and restore function across diverse patient populations. Whether working in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments, you will be at the forefront of physiotherapy excellence, utilizing your physiology knowledge and care planning skills to make a meaningful difference every day.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs, utilizing your strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
  • Develop and execute tailored care plans that incorporate evidence-based practices such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics techniques to optimize recovery.
  • Provide hands-on therapy including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and alleviate pain.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community care settings.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to meet evolving goals in inpatient, outpatient, or home health environments.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and activity modifications to support long-term wellness.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems while adhering to medical terminology standards and confidentiality protocols.

Education & Qualifications

  • Licensing: Must hold a valid license issued by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (TBPTE) or with the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) to practice physical therapy in the State of Texas
  • Program Completion: completed a physical therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • Proven experience in healthcare clinical based settings, with familiarity in handling complex medical cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs across diverse populations.
  • Excellent understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology essential for accurate assessment and documentation.
  • Experience working with EMR systems for efficient record keeping and communication among healthcare teams.
  • Prior experience in outpatient clinics or home health environments is highly desirable.

Pay: $ $70.00 per hour
