Job Overview

Sterling Health Solutions is seeking a highly organised and personable Patient Care Coordination & Scheduling Specialist to work closely alongside our Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role is essential to ensuring seamless coordination of patient care, efficient scheduling of visits, and strong communication between patients, providers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care activities to ensure timely and appropriate services
• Schedule patient visits with clinicians and providers
• Manage provider calendars and adjust schedules as needed
• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience
• Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and internal leadership
• Assist the COO with operational coordination related to patient flow and scheduling
• Maintain accurate records and scheduling documentation
• Handle patient and provider inquiries professionally and promptly

Required Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a patient-first mindset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working directly with executive leadership
• Professional, empathetic, and dependable

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, patient coordination, or scheduling
• Familiarity with provider scheduling systems or EHRs
• Experience in a clinical, home health, or healthcare operations environment
