Warehouse and Inventory Associate

Wool & Co. is a fast-paced, growing purveyor of premium yarns, needles & notions for hand knitting. We are looking to fill a position with our warehouse team based in South Elgin, IL. Heated warehouse with a clean working environment.

Job Description for Warehouse Associate

• Restock inventory shelves from overstock
• Organize & put away large quantites of inventory
• Unload pallet deliveries using pallet jack from shipping containers
• Work safely, quickly and efficiently to move inventory fro overstock to racking
• Performing cycle counts & stocking inventory using RFI scanner
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness through sweeping, breaking down boxes, maintaining neat shelves
• Assist Warehouse Manager on additional day to day responsibilities such as relocating inventory, assembling steel racking, relabeling shelves & bins, creating overstock totes

Skill Set for Warehouse Associate

• Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
• Experience using a pallet jack
• Forktruck certification preferred
• Ability to climb ladders while carrying boxes/totes
• Can lift up to 50lbs.
• Will be on feet for entire shift
• Dependable with high level of accountability
• Cooperates and interacts effectively with peers and warehouse leadership
• Ability to adapt to change
• Willingness to accept other tasks as needs arise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
