What You Will Be Doing

• Create and facilitate high-caliber learning sessions – Develop workshops spanning mathematics, sciences, philosophy, and creative writing, and deliver personalized 1-on-1 mentorship to 15-20 gifted learners advancing at 5-10 times typical speed
• Identify and resolve cognitive roadblocks – Adjust methods dynamically to support students who have surpassed conventional schooling and need to sharpen their intellectual capabilities
• Use AI to tailor instruction
• Iterate and improve with the team – Continuously enhance workshop frameworks alongside colleagues, and measure success using both qualitative insights and quantitative data

Basic Requirements
Academic Mentor key responsibilities

• Elite educational background – Bachelor's degree earned from an Ivy League institution or comparable university
• Demonstrated academic distinction – National Merit Finalist status, Olympiad medal, early college completion, or equivalent recognition
• Prestigious academic credential – Award of a competitive scholarship (Rhodes, Fulbright, NSF GRFP), membership in Mensa/Triple Nine Society, doctoral degree, or teaching experience at the university level
• 3 years of mentorship background – Prior experience coaching, mentoring, or instructing students in any setting
• Regular AI tool usage – Self-reported daily engagement with generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
• Geographic flexibility – Ability to relocate to or work on-site in Austin (Georgetown), TX
• U.S. work eligibility – Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
