Maintenance Technician/Handyman

Duties As a Maintenance Technician/Handyman, you will be responsible for the following duties: - Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment - Performing preventative maintenance tasks on machinery /equipment/Buiding/Hotel rooms, etc Performing facilities maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

• General repairs: Fix drywall, walls, doors, windows, and floors.
• Minor plumbing: Repair faucets, fixtures, and pipes.
• Minor electrical: Replace light bulbs, fuses, and plugs, and fix light fixtures.
• Appliance repair: Troubleshoot and fix household appliances.

Installation and assembly

• Installations: Mount shelves, hang pictures, install new flooring, and put up curtains.
• Assembly: Assemble furniture and fitness equipment.
• Carpentry: Complete basic carpentry projects and install items like cabinets.

Property upkeep

• Exterior maintenance: Clean gutters, pressure wash driveways/Building, and repair decks and fences.
• Landscaping: Mow lawns, trim bushes, and perform other yard work, Snow removal, etc
• Painting and finishing: Paint, fill cracks, and apply wallpaper.

Other duties

• Safety and inspections: Install smoke detectors and conduct safety checks on equipment like lifts or air conditioning units.
• Cleaning: Maintain and clean various areas, including shared spaces and facilities.
• Record keeping: Keep track of completed work and necessary supplies.
• Client communication: Assess client needs and provide guidance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
