Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Vegan Chef to lead the creation of delicious, nutritious, and visually stunning plant-based dishes. Duties

  • Develop and execute innovative vegan menus that cater to a variety of dietary preferences and occasions, including fine dining, catering events, and daily restaurant service
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and flavor in every dish served
  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently by supervising food production, inventory control, and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Lead and mentor culinary staff by providing clear guidance on food safety practices, cooking techniques, and teamwork principles
  • Coordinate with the dietary department to ensure menu items meet nutritional guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs
  • Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours while maintaining a positive work environment
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation regulations across all kitchen activities
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team on menu planning, catering orders, and inventory management to support overall business goals

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in vegan cuisine with a strong background in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience managing culinary teams in fast-paced environments
  • Extensive knowledge of food production, food service management, and kitchen operations within the food industry
  • Familiarity with banquet service, catering logistics, and event planning is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively
  • Excellent skills in inventory management, food handling, and food safety protocols
  • Experience in menu planning, shift management, and restaurant experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dietary requirements related to vegan diets as well as general hospitality standards
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
