Bartender - Brick & Forge Taproom

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, including Aloha POS.
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, taking orders, offering recommendations, and addressing any concerns.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the preparation and serving of beverages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate beverage service during busy periods.
• Stay updated on drink trends, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending is required
• Strong customer service skills with an ability to create a friendly atmosphere in a nightclub or restaurant setting.
• Proficiency in cash handling and retail math; experience with cash registers is essential.
• Familiarity with various types of alcoholic beverages, brewing methods, and cocktail preparation techniques.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the bartending field.
