Position Overview:Overview: Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Mission Grammar School is an urban, College Prep, Catholic school established and staffed by the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1889 in Roxbury, Massachusetts. The administration, faculty and staff serve students from diverse religious, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. We have a valuable resource in our faculty, staff, and families who work in close collaboration and with mutual respect to meet the educational needs of all Scholars.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
• Physical caregiving
• Developmental assessments
• Following an age-appropriate curricular plan with guidance from the Lead Teacher
• Facilitation of supportive relationships with the administration, co-workers, parents, and students.
• Supporting curriculum implementation
• Communicating with lead teacher about classroom needs, responsibilities, routines, and schedules
• Create and foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Ensure scholars are supported, valued, and challenged every day
• Participate in school-wide and individual professional development and collaboration opportunities, engage in coaching sessions and dynamic feedback loops
• Perform necessary support duties including but not limited to coverage, lunch and recess
• Dependable attendance according to our school calendar for core academic days and community events
