Direct Support Professional

Job Summary
Celebrate Independence provides services to individuals who participate in DDA Waivers in their homes and communities. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and autism in their daily activities and fostering their independence. This post is for clients in Montgomery County.

***MUST HAVE PERSONAL VEHICLE AND DRIVER'S INSURANCE***
**CPR and First Aid certification for adults and children is a big plus**

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in activities of daily living and personal hygiene, light housework, laundry and grocery shopping
• Facilitate client engagement in their community as they choose
• Help clients secure volunteer sites
• Help individuals achieve goals as outlined in their PCP
• Keep accurate time sheet logs and submit them each week

Experience

• Minimum 1 year direct care experience
• Must have personal transportation
• Must pass state and federal background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $34.00 per hour
