Appliance Installer

Livingood's Appliances, Savannah's largest independent home appliance store is seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Installer. Ideal candidates will have a light electrical, light plumbing, or carpentry/ cabinetry background. Previous installation experience is preferred, but not required. A good work ethic IS required. Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver and install major household appliances (such as wall ovens, cook tops, dishwashers, OTR microwaves, hoods etc.).
• Take precise measurements and modify cabinetry as needed.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles, observing safety procedures, and maintaining all necessary certifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to load, move, and deliver appliances.
• Able to install (or learn to install) appliances involving gas, water, and electricity.
• Cabinetry or carpentry experience is desired.
• Light plumbing and light electrical experience is desired.
• Good communication and strong interpersonal skills, including written correspondence.
• Valid driver's license with a clear MVR (no DUIs or Reckless Driving). Reliable transportation is required.
• Must be able to successfully complete the pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background check.
• Must have your own tools.
• Meet physical requirements generally associated with installing appliances (lifting, bending, etc.).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Excellent organization, time-management and customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40, $75,000.00 per year
