This role is the first impression of Slix.

You are the voice, tone, and presence clients associate with our brand — whether they're calling to book a service, meeting us at an automotive event, or following up after a high-end detail.

If you are confident, polished, sales-minded, and comfortable representing a premium automotive brand, this role offers real growth and upside. If you are looking for a casual reception position, this will not be a fit.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Client Intake, Sales & Booking

  • Answer inbound calls from new and returning customers responding to marketing, referrals, and promotions
  • Identify client needs and confidently recommend appropriate services and add-ons
  • Close bookings on the call whenever possible
  • Protect the schedule and maximize revenue through smart upselling

Customer Experience & Issue Resolution

  • Handle unhappy or concerned clients professionally and calmly
  • Prioritize company reputation and long-term client relationships
  • Resolve issues efficiently while documenting outcomes in the CRM
  • Escalate issues appropriately when needed

Scheduling & Team Coordination

  • Maintain a tight, accurate schedule for all services and technicians
  • Communicate daily schedules and real-time changes to service providers
  • Adjust for delays, cancellations, weather, or unforeseen issues

CRM, Marketing & Client Communication

  • Maintain accurate client records in the CRM
  • Ensure past clients receive follow-ups, newsletters, promotions, and educational content
  • Track repeat business and reactivation opportunities

Inventory, Vehicles & Operations

  • Track inventory levels for supplies, tools, and equipment
  • Order supplies proactively to avoid shortages
  • Monitor company vehicle readiness and maintenance schedules

Brand Awareness & Community Presence

  • Represent Slix at automotive events such as Cars & Coffee, Goodguys shows, and enthusiast gatherings
  • Engage confidently with potential clients and partners in public settings
  • Explain Slix services and promotions in person
  • Capture leads and coordinate follow-up after events

Financial Tracking & Reporting

  • Track daily income and expenses
  • Prepare weekly summaries for management
  • Flag discrepancies or issues early

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Strong verbal communication and confidence speaking with clients
  • Sales or upselling experience (luxury retail, jewelry, automotive, or hospitality preferred)
  • Comfort being on camera and representing a brand publicly
  • Polished, professional presence aligned with a premium brand
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Preferred

  • Experience in luxury retail, jewelry sales, high-end hospitality, or automotive
  • CRM, scheduling, or front-office coordination experience
  • Event or brand ambassador experience

Compensation & Growth

  • $20–$21/hour base pay
  • Commission and performance-based upside
  • Eligibility for company profit sharing after 12 months
  • 90-day performance review with growth opportunities
  • Clear path for increased responsibility as Slix scales
