Material Handler Forklift Operator 1st and 2nd shift

Job description:

Essential Functions

Equipment Operator (Cherry Picker & Forklift): Loading and unload product from trucks to receiving platforms. Must be able to operate forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse. May not be operating equipment entire time, could be asked to complete hand picking/packing and kitting. Picking items from racks to complete orders.

• Pull product using pick list assigned to ship orders
• Assemble and wrap pallets with products requested on pick list
• Load palletized product on truck as requested on customer order
• Repack damaged products in new boxes and palletize
• Clean warehouse area as assigned
• Deposit trash from assigned area in dumpster
• Unload trucks with product received from vendors
• Move product from floor locations to rack locations
• Provide updated locations to Admins for product move
• Perform daily checklist on all equipment used
• Identify and report all safety hazards
• Participating in Physical Inventory counts
• Inspect Trailers for safety and sanitation before loading
• Verify product received from vendors matches product listed and are in good quality condition
• other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements:

MUST HAVE 3 YEARS EXPRERIENCE WITH EQUIPMENT WILL BE GIVEN A TEST ON DAY ONE

CAN NOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS FOR CHERRY PICKER

Schedule:

1st shift: 4am – 1230pm, 30 min lunch, 2 15min paid breaks,

2nd shift: 12pm – 830pm, 30 min lunch, 2 15min paid breaks.

Dress: Steel Toe Shoes. Jeans, shorts, tshirt. No lose clothing. Appropriate work warehouse attire.
