Food Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced food service environment, ensuring high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have prior restaurant or hospitality experience and possess excellent communication and multitasking skills. Experience with POS systems such as Clover POS. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary and customer service skills within a vibrant hospitality setting.

Duties

• Take customer orders accurately using Clover POS.
• Provide friendly and attentive guest service, addressing customer needs promptly
• Prepare and serve food items according to established quality standards and safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation in accordance with restaurant guidelines
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage reservations.
• Buss tables, clear dishes, and assist with guest seating as needed
• Support kitchen staff during busy periods by performing basic food prep or bussing duties
• Uphold guest relations by providing attentive service in a professional manner

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Clover POS systems
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order processing accurately
• Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is desirable
• Basic understanding of the food industry operations and guest relations principles
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability may be required
