We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Develop and plan menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
- Oversee food production, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions
- Oversee catering events, banquets, and large-scale food service operations
- Manage shift schedules, monitor staff performance, and provide training as needed
- Ensure consistent quality in all food offerings while controlling costs effectively
- Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in culinary roles with a focus on fine dining, catering, or banquet services
- Supervising experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong background in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Experience in inventory management and cost control strategies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices including food handling, serving, bartending, and event coordination
- Culinary certification or degree is preferred but not required; extensive hands-on experience is essential
