We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating innovative menus. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage kitchen operations, oversee food quality, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Experience in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management is highly desirable.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Develop and plan menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
  • Oversee food production, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions
  • Oversee catering events, banquets, and large-scale food service operations
  • Manage shift schedules, monitor staff performance, and provide training as needed
  • Ensure consistent quality in all food offerings while controlling costs effectively
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance overall guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in culinary roles with a focus on fine dining, catering, or banquet services
  • Supervising experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong background in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
  • Experience in inventory management and cost control strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry practices including food handling, serving, bartending, and event coordination
  • Culinary certification or degree is preferred but not required; extensive hands-on experience is essential
