The Role

Napster Corp
is seeking a highly organized and events-savvy
Events & Operations Coordinator
to support our Thunder Studios location in Long Beach. This onsite role is essential to ensuring smooth execution of live events, studio productions, rehearsals, and high-profile client experiences.

Reporting to the President & General Manager, this individual will be responsible for events and productions operations, coordinate cross-functional event teams, manage vendors and crew logistics, and ensure productions run efficiently, safely, and on schedule.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has exceptional coordination and communication skills, and can anticipate needs before they arise.

The role will require heavy lifting and may have some physical /long hours standing and walking. Must be customer service oriented.

What You'll Do

Event & Stage Management

  • Oversee all stage operations during live events, rehearsals, productions, and client bookings at Thunder Studios.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, crews, vendors, and internal production teams.
  • Liaise with the sales team for contract documents required by client and on-the-ground coordination.
  • Ensure stages, green rooms, equipment, and facilities are properly set up, reset, and maintained for each event and production.
  • Self shifts as Stage Manager for self as needed

Event Coordination & Logistics

  • Coordinate operation teams schedules, load-ins, load-outs, and day-of-event timelines.
  • Manage event resources including equipment, props, staging materials, and backstage needs.
  • Oversee crew assignments, call times, and communication across production and facilities teams.
  • Partner with the production, studio, IT/AV, and operations teams to deliver seamless event experiences.
  • Communicate with the President and VP of the studio weekly to maintain transparency of all operations, schedules and plans created and executed.

Client & Talent Support

  • Provide white-glove support for clients, performers, executives, and VIPs onsite.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams to ensure expectations are met.
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time and proactively solve problems under pressure.

Compliance, Safety & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure all events follow safety protocols, building regulations, and studio operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation—including event reports, prep sheets, risk assessments, and SOPs.
  • Handle last-minute changes, schedule adjustments, and technical needs with professionalism and urgency.

General Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with vendors, rentals, transportation, and external partners as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of staging and event supplies.
  • Support studio operations during non-event days as needed.
  • Weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required depending on event schedules.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant event and production coordination experience
  • Strong experience with live event production, studio environments, and on-set operations
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute staging diagrams, and call sheets
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to direct crews and talent
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in high-pressure, fast-changing situations with a positive attitude and helpful predisposition
  • Calm, professional disposition working live in front of clients and talent
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate with urgency
  • Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and be physically active during events

We'll Be Extra Pumped If You Have

  • Experience in entertainment, live events, music, broadcasting, XR/immersive media, or studio production
  • Background in technical production workflows (lighting, sound, stage tech, AV, livestreaming, etc.)
  • Experience working with talent, influencers, musicians, or high-profile clients
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, stage rigging basics, and event compliance
  • Ability to support occasional high-priority corporate or VIP events at other Napster locations
  • Forklift certification is a plus

The base salary for this position is up to $80,000. Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, certifications, experience, market demands, and locations.
