Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labor, and production, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
• Refine estimates using historical data and insights gained through collaboration with engineering and production teams.
• Gather and analyze data from engineering drawings and specifications to support the engineering team.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customer service teams to maintain accurate project costs within budget.
• Maintain and update a cost database for materials, labor, and equipment to ensure data accuracy.
• Support the preparation of proposals and track project budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies within the estimating process.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid math skills and a passion for working with numbers.
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and cost estimation techniques.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with SyteLine is a plus).
• Associate's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
