Property Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Assigned a work assignment each day, you will be responsible to enter vacant/occupied homes to diagnose the maintenance concern and report back to the office what would need accomplished. Minor repairs performed while onsite. This position is mainly off-site. Will be provided a company vehicle to perform work. Reports to Director of Maintenance & office coordinators throughout the day.

Duties:

• Inspects and documents all maintenance work following off-site inspections to properly maintain all property units and rental license.
• Must maintain a comprehensive list of jobs and monitors and provide follow up on their completion with the assistance from the department coordinators.
• Daily reports must be organized and reviewed with the Director of Maintenance daily.
• Will need to work with Department on reviewing semi-annual reports, and follow-up on tasks that needs completed.
• Performs walk-throughs on vacant units to ensure a quick turnover of properties.
• Performs minor maintenance repairs, i.e. changing locks, install smoke detectors & replacing furnace filters, minor painting and caulking.
• Experience with HVAC, Plumbing, drywall, patch repairs, punch list items a plus, not required.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, appliances, etc a plus, not required

No Insurance provided, Paid Holidays off, Bonus structure for # of years with the company. Paid 1 week of vacation after 1 year of employment.

MUST have a clean driving record. You will be given a company vehicle to drive during working hours.

Pay: $20.00/Hr to start, 60 day review, potential to earn more based on experience & positive review.

Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm

Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. MUST be able to multitask. MUST be trustworthy and be able to work on your own.
