Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and other vehicle components
• Conduct repairs on powertrain systems, including engines, transmissions, and diesel engines, ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to accurately troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
• Carry out vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to maintain safety and performance
• Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools
• Conduct wheel alignments and suspension adjustments to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to estimate repair costs accurately and communicate findings clearly to customers

Skills

• Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive service procedures
• Extensive knowledge of ADAS technology, schematics interpretation, and automotive diagnostics
• Mechanical expertise across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and gasoline engines
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive maintenance machinery
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service best practices in an automotive setting
• Ability to work efficiently on Nissan vehicles or similar makes with confidence in repairs involving complex systems
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay: $ $34.00 per hour
