Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes, hotels, and commercial spaces. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an understanding of effective cleaning practices. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are kept clean, sanitized, and presentable for guests and residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and floor care.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests or inquiries regarding housekeeping services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and housekeeping management practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
