This role requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Support patients emotionally by offering companionship and responding to their needs with empathy.
  • Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies at all times.

Skills:

The required skills enable the CNA to deliver high-quality, hands-on patient care by effectively assisting with daily living activities and monitoring patient health. Strong communication skills are essential for accurately reporting patient conditions and collaborating with healthcare team members. Attention to detail and observational skills help in identifying subtle changes in patient status that may require intervention. Preferred skills such as familiarity with electronic health records improve efficiency in documentation and information sharing.
