Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant at Nao Medical, you'll be more than just a support team member – you'll be a key player in delivering exceptional healthcare experiences. From assisting physicians with medical procedures to ensuring seamless administrative operations, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on every patient's journey.

What makes this role exciting? You'll be cross-trained as a patient care assistant and front desk assistant, giving you a well-rounded experience in healthcare while honing your skills in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care: Take vital signs, assist with procedures, and collect/prepare lab specimens.
  • Patient Experience: Provide compassionate, prompt responses to inquiries, ensuring every patient feels valued.
  • Administrative Support: Manage patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to deliver timely, high-quality care.
  • Professional Growth: Learn and grow with us – your success is part of our mission.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma or Associate degree.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assisting program (CMA/RMA preferred).
  • Certifications in BLS, Phlebotomy, or EKG.

Skills:

  • Seamlessly use EMR systems (experience with eClinicalWorks is great) and understand the importance of adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Tech-savvy with strong organizational skills for multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • Communication pro – empathetic, adaptable, and ready to connect with people.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is a huge plus

Schedule & Commitment:

  • Flexibility to work 4-6 days per week through Saturday, 8-12 hours per shift, with rotating weekends.
