Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to house recipes, traditional standards, and guest preferences
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage multiple drink orders efficiently using a POS system
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages during busy periods
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food items at bars or banquet events
• Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and beverage preparation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours or special events like banquets or nightclub nights
• Uphold high standards of customer service by actively listening to guest needs and resolving any issues promptly
• Support catering functions by serving drinks at private parties or corporate events

Experience

• Previous experience as a bartender in fine dining or craft cocktail bar is essential
• Experience jiggering required
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy shifts
• Experience working in the food industry with knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates a welcoming atmosphere
• Knowledge of basic math for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and accurate order processing
• Experience working in hospitality environments that require serving alcohol responsibly and ensuring guest safety
