Position Summary

The Healthcare Center Administrator is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the healthcare facility to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient administrative workflow. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership capability, and a solid understanding of healthcare operations. A valid Healthcare Administration Certificate is required for this position.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the healthcare center, ensuring smooth workflow and coordination across departments.
  • Manage patient scheduling, registration, billing processes, and front-office functions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility environment.

Administrative Duties

  • Supervise administrative staff including front-desk coordinators, medical records personnel, and scheduling teams.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports, documentation, and compliance records.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships.

Patient Experience & Support

  • Ensure a positive patient experience from check-in to discharge.
  • Address patient concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure the facility complies with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and accreditation requirements.
  • Implement and enforce organizational policies and procedures.

Financial & Data Management

  • Assist with budget planning, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Support insurance verification and billing tasks as needed.
  • Use EMR/EHR systems to maintain accurate patient and operational data.

Staff Coordination & Communication

  • Support onboarding, training, and performance monitoring of administrative staff.
  • Act as a communication bridge between clinical staff, management, and patients.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Healthcare Administration Certificate (mandatory).
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare operations.
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and patient privacy standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $ $70.00 per hour
