Non-Emergency Medical transport company seeking full-time and part-time drivers. 15th year in business.

We provide both non-emergency stretcher and wheelchair transportation throughout central Virginia. Although it only happens a handful of times a year, our staff enjoy the long distance transports as we have transported patients as far north as CT and south as FL (and every state along the east coast in-between). Travel pay, nice meals and upscale accommodations when traveling.

The right person should have a current CPR/First Aid or willing to obtain immediately prior to employment date. This is a very competitive position however will train the right person with the right attitude.

Always looking for part-time staff as well - but must be able to work 2-3 full days per week, M-F.

Best reputation in Central Virginia - seriously. We have contracts with all the major healthcare facilities, hospitals, nursing homes and hospices. We have an excellent staff and expanding our business.

This can be a demanding job - can be long hours. Must be able to lift 125lbs (for stretcher transports), Squeaky-clean driving record. Be on-call every 4th-5th weekend while other weekends you are off. Drivers must be minimum age of 23 years old. As we transport mainly people with disabilities or recovering from injuries, as well as geriatric patients - must be kind and compassionate by nature. We're transporting someone's loved one and they will be our loved one for the short time they are with us.

Yes, we offer the BEST PAY IN THE INDUSTRY

Starting at $20-$22/hr. for drivers. We are a small company and at this time unable to offer health insurance – but hoping to in the near future as we grow. We do offer paid training, vacation and holidays. Ideally work 4-days a week, M-F w/one day off during the week. Basically get your 40-plus in 4. Weekends off except when your rotation for on-call.

On-call weekends mean AUTOMATIC OVERTIME plus daily INCENTIVE pay. You are paired with a teammate and rotation is every 4th or 5th weekend (whereas you have 3-4 weekends off before next rotation). Incentive pay plus automatic overtime.

Although rare, if a transport takes you past 7:00PM during week, automatic overtime from that point as well. We also offer opportunities for discharge requests that pay bonuses when getting back later - never required of a driver - only if the driver wants the additional bonus transport.

We have also expanded into mobility products (wheelchair ramps, vertical platform and stairlifts) and you'll have the opportunity to earn referral commission/incentives should a lead turn into a sale

6- Month Tenure bonuses, Driver Referral Bonuses, Mobility Product Bonuses and Safety Bonus Programs:

• 6-month Tenure Bonus Program whereas everyone will receive a bonus for every 6-months you remain with the company. Full-time drivers will receive a $500 bonus.
• Driver-referral bonus - if you refer someone and they are hired as a driver, and they remain with the company for 30-days, you will receive a $100 referral bonus.
• Driver Safety Bonus - with the new Azuga dash cams, they not only record what is going on inside as well as outside the vehicles, they also monitor safe (and unsafe) driving patterns and habits (speeding, taking turns safely, braking and other variables).
• Ramp Referral Bonus - if you refer an ramp system to someone and it turns into a sale you. will receive $100 bonus.
• Tips - we don't solicit but allow for great service

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required); CPR/First Aid - must have prior or shortly after starting

Background check, clean DMV record and drug screen prior to being hired.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with one day off in addition to weekends off (when not on-call rotation)

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Glen Allen, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required). Must have OWN dependable transportation.

License/Certification:

• EMT Certification - not required but goes to top of list and pay scale
