Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Maintenance Manager
to lead and develop the maintenance operations at our metals manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in
CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
, with strong leadership skills in a
metals manufacturing environment
. This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance processes, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the maintenance team to achieve plant reliability goals.
- Administer and optimize the
CMMS
for scheduling, tracking, and analyzing maintenance activities. - Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of plant machinery and facility systems.
- Collaborate with production leadership to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase asset reliability and reduce costs.
Qualifications
RequirementDetails
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (preferred)
Experience
7+ years in maintenance leadership within a
manufacturing metals environment
(steel or aluminum strongly preferred)
CMMS Expertise
Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with CMMS systems
Technical Skills
Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Leadership
Proven ability to manage teams, develop talent, and foster a safety-first culture
Other
Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
