As part of our Vacation Specialist team, you'll help provide outstanding service in one of the most sought-after destinations in Florida.
Position Overview
As a Vacation & Front Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for guests who are looking to experience the best of the Emerald Coast. Your role will involve assisting with vacation rental bookings, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality and vacation rentals, who is eager to create memorable stays for guests.
Work Schedule
- Hours: Weekdays and weekends, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed, ensuring consistent coverage and excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Services & Communication
- Welcome and assist guests with a warm and professional demeanor, answering questions about our vacation rentals, amenities, and local area.
- Manage reservation inquiries, booking processes, and guest communications via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Ensure guests have all the information needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay.
- Vacation Rental & Reservation Management
- Handle vacation rental bookings, including processing reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of rental availability, rates, and packages.
- Provide detailed information about properties and match guests with the perfect vacation rental to meet their needs.
- Collaborative Teamwork
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, property owners, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Address any guest concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
- Administrative Support & Flexibility
- Assist with office tasks, documentation, and system updates as needed.
- Take on additional responsibilities and special projects, with a focus on supporting the overall operation of the vacation rental division.
- Concierge- Administrative support of concierge services.
What You Bring
- Strong communication skills, both in-person and over the phone or email
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with a passion for the vacation rental industry
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy periods
- Previous experience in vacation rentals, hospitality, or customer service is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable with computer systems and basic office software
